We’re Heather and Natalie. Best friends, co-hosts, curious minds, and two women who have never been particularly good at hearing an unbelievable story and simply moving on with our day.
One question turns into another. Then comes a document, a contradiction, an unexpected detail, or a rabbit hole neither of us saw coming. Before we know it, we’re asking the question that started this whole thing:

We don’t want you to feel like you’re listening to a lecture. We want you in the conversation, asking questions alongside us and discovering the story as it unfolds.

Some of the stories we tell involve unimaginable loss, violence, injustice, and families whose lives were changed forever.
We may be outspoken. We may have a dark sense of humor. And we may have some very strong opinions about the things people do.
But the victims are never the punchline.
We believe the people affected by these stories deserve more than to be reduced to a shocking headline or a plot twist. Their lives matter. Their families matter. And how their stories are told matters.
